CAMP NORTH END - CHARLOTTE
Butner has an area along the Norfolk South Railroad corridor that is a vestiage of our past as Camp Butner. Camp North End in Charlotte is a model for what can be replicated in Butner. Today, there are a few hundred people working at Camp North End for respected companies across sectors that range from renewable energy technology to contemporary art + home decor. They are in firms large and small, but they all push their respective fields and believe in community building and supporting the neighborhoods around it.
